I don’t know if any of you have been in a similar position as I, where you literally have nothing to give as tithe money.
In the bible it talks about giving 10% of your income to God, but with no income I often wondered what I could give. So I remember as I child I thought about what I valued the most and what would cost me the most if I were to give it unto God, and what came to mind was this phrase
‘Time is money’
With that I set about trying to give God 10% of my day, that meant 2 hours 24 minutes of the day would be dedicated to God. I can tell you that despite my sincerity I was unable to uphold this promise of mine. Now as an adult the idea came to me once again of dedicating a portion of my day unto God whether this means waking up early or sleeping later. At the end of the day it’s not about how many hours we pray but is about developing a consitent communication line with God one that would go beyond ‘small talks’.
I just wondered what you guys are giving unto God, if you are like me giving your time I just wondered what you guys are doing during those moments.
